We are currently seeking a versatile and efficient Trade Counter and Warehouse Person/Relief Driver to join our team in Oxford. This role involves a combination of responsibilities, including handling customer orders and enquiries at the trade counter, managing stock levels in the warehouse, and providing relief driving cover when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and assisting them with their orders at the trade counter
- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Managing stock levels in the warehouse
- Preparing orders for delivery and loading/unloading delivery vehicles
- Driving company vehicles to deliver goods to customers when needed
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the trade or construction industry
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A clean UK driving license with experience driving commercial vehicles
