Do you enjoy caring for older people? Do you want a role that is special and vital in enhancing the lives of our residents? As a Team Leader with TLC Care, you will become a key part of a friendly and enthusiastic care team who enjoy making the lives of our residents happy every day.

When joining our team, you will be supporting the day-to-day lives of our residents from their personal care through to their safety and assisting with daily activities. It is important that you really get to know each resident and their likes and dislikes, so you can provide the highest standard of person-centred care and bring a smile to their face.

The main requirements for a Team Leader are to be responsible for the wellbeing of the residents, their physical, emotional and social needs, in a caring, kind and respectful manner, maintaining their dignity and self-respect at all times, under the supervision of the Care Services Manager.

To assist the Care Services Manager to plan, monitor and supervise care. To support the Care Services Manager in formulating care plans and medication management in accordance with company policy and support with the management and implementation of the rota. To take on responsibilities and development in the Team Leader role in line with business needs.

Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in, and experience of working with, the relevant Client group
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player
  • Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
  • Satisfactory Police Check and ISA check
  • Minimum N/SVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience/Qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines
