We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant for our care home at TLC Care. The Home is part of TLC Care which prides itself in providing the highest standards of care and promoting the choices and individual needs of our elderly residents, creating a happy environment for both residents and team members. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals and drinks.
  • Prepare vegetables and beverages for residents as directed by the Chef Manager.
  • Prepare food trolleys for the meals.
  • Provide assistance with plating meals when required.
  • Assist with the preparation of puree food.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate preferable
  • Experience of working in a kitchen
  • Good communication skills
