We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our care home.

The Home is part of TLC Care who pride themselves in not only delivering the highest standards of care, but promoting the choices and individual needs of our elderly residents, making the Home a happy environment for residents and team members alike.

The role of the Kitchen Assistant is to

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals and drinks.
  • To prepare vegetables and beverages for residents as required by the Chef Manager
  • To prepare food trolleys for the meals
  • To provide assistance with plating meals when required.
  • To assist with the preparation of puree food.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Requirements

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate preferable
  • Experience of working in a kitchen
  • Good communication skills
