Fabricator / Welder Location : Feltham, TW14 0XJ Salary : Up to £40K DOE + £1,000 Joining bonus + £100 attendance bonus each month! Contract : Full-time, permanent Hours : Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm WEEKDAYS ONLY with 1 hour break. TLC Auto Refinishing Ltd is a Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop in Feltham! We offer a range of services to our respected customers in the Automotive Industry but mostly specialise in crash repair and the design and build of bespoke Commercial Vehicle Bodies. Fabricator / Welder – The Role We are looking for a talented and efficient Fabricator / Welder to join our friendly workshop! You will be fabricating and installing bespoke bodies onto the chassis of commercial vehicles. General Commercial Vehicle body build experience is advantageous in this role. This includes fabricating, welding and working with different materials (Timber, GRP, Metal etc). Key Responsibilities; Work within a team to complete full vehicle body builds to a high standard (including all areas of the interior and exterior build) Read and understand technical drawings Fabricating sections and components from sheet metal, wood, fibreglass and other materials Fitting and assembling components using hand and portable power tools e.g drill, riveter and welding apparatus Welding, riveting, drilling, cutting, bolting and fixing materials to form the finished products Installing components and trim such as door handles, locks & hinges Basic auto electrical work including installing lights and attaching tail lifts to vehicles (Training given if needed) Fabricator / Welder – What we need from you Skills & Experience; Reliable with good time keeping. Works well in a team and can manage your own workload. Be able to Weld Steel competently / Aluminium welding is desirable Fabricating and/or welding experience with the willingness to adapt your skills to bodybuilding (essential) If you are a Coachbuilder or Vehicle Mechanic / Technician willing to adapt your skills to bodybuilding this would be an excellent opportunity for you and we would love to hear from you!
