Overview
Fabricator / Welder – Commercial Vehicle Body Building. Location: Feltham (TW14 – near Heathrow). Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE plus £1,000 Joining Bonus and £100 Monthly Attendance Bonus. Contract: Full-time, Permanent | Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm (Weekdays Only). Optional Saturdays at Overtime (Time & Half).
Build commercial vehicles from the ground up with a growing, family-run business near Heathrow. Join an experienced team and develop skills through specialist training and ongoing development.
Responsibilities
- MIG welding (TIG welding desirable).
- Fabricate and assemble vehicle bodies from chassis upwards.
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
- Work with a variety of materials including metal, fibreglass, and wood.
- Cut, drill, bolt, and fit components to specification.
- Fit tail lifts (training provided).
- Ensure top-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Experience in fabrication and welding (vehicle body/coachbuilding experience desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player.
- Able to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Eager to learn new skills and progress with the business.
