Position Title: Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer Location: London, UK (Reports to Maintenance Manager) Company Overview: With over 150 years of experience, ASR Group is the largest vertically integrated cane sugar refiner globally, with nine refineries across five countries and a broad reach in over 40 countries. We supply sugars, sweeteners, and syrups across various markets. Position Scope: Support electrical, control & instrumentation systems for process plants and packing equipment at Plaistow Wharf. Responsibilities include design, supervision, commissioning, upgrades, maintenance, and fault finding of control systems. Responsibilities: Maintain and upgrade electrical, control, and instrumentation hardware and software Design PLC control and cabling systems Evaluate and recommend process control system improvements Contribute to standards for process control systems Communicate effectively with site personnel regarding control system changes Provide electrical expertise for design, implementation, and commissioning Support LT/HT electrical systems as trained Manage electrical responsibilities in absence of supervisor Perform planned and reactive maintenance, support operational needs Participate in all phases of capital projects from planning to commissioning Focus on continuous and quality improvement Conduct plant isolations Administer SAP maintenance inputs for EC&I activities Manage engineering contracts and contractors, issue permits Other tasks as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: None Location of Role: Primarily at Plaistow Wharf, occasional work at Thames Refinery Essential Education Requirements: HNC/NVQ 4 or higher in a relevant engineering discipline Strong communication, organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional communication skills at all organizational levels Proactive problem anticipation skills Good documentation skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
