Role Overview
The Solution Delivery Lead is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of a core media technology platform within a broadcasting and sports content production environment. The role will lead the design, configuration, testing and implementation of the solution, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational workflows. Working closely with internal stakeholders and an external systems integration partner, the Lead will ensure high‑quality delivery, hold partners accountable and drive business readiness for a successful go‑live. The role also includes designing and delivering training programmes and owning the business readiness gate prior to launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Delivery: lead end‑to‑end platform delivery, translate business requirements into designs, oversee system configuration, ensure integrations and drive quality assurance.
- Systems Integration Partner Management: act as primary accountability owner, define deliverables, monitor performance, challenge solutions and manage risks.
- Testing & Implementation: define test strategy, coordinate execution, manage defects and lead deployment planning.
- Operational Readiness & Training: design and deliver training programmes, create documentation and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Business Readiness & Go‑Live Governance: define readiness criteria, assess readiness and gate launch via go/no‑go decisions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: engage stakeholders, communicate progress and build strong relationships.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven technology delivery experience in broadcasting or media environments.
- Strong understanding of live & non‑live media workflows.
- Experience designing and implementing a full range of media platforms, including:
- Human and technical resource booking, billing and resource management solutions (e.g., Dataminer, Media Pulse, SchedulAll).
- Event‑centric planning workflows combining solution delivery with editorial background (e.g., NRCS solutions such as Saga, Story Desk, iNEWS).
- Integrating content production workflows and solutions into broader business/enterprise platforms (e.g., SalesForce CRM, SAP Financials & Workday).
- Broadcast control and monitoring platforms (e.g., BNCS, DataMiner).
- End‑to‑end Content Production workflow orchestration (e.g., Qibb, SDVI Rally, Node‑Red, XXX).
- Experience collaborating with and managing System Integration partners to deliver on‑time and to quality.
- Strong track record in managing solution testing, defect resolution and outcome delivery.
- Experience in implementing AI tools to automate workflows and data capture in content production operations or similar.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in live broadcast environments, demonstrating flexibility when there are unpredictable changes in business operations.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and deliver required training programmes to operational and technical support staff.
