IMG is hiring a Production Manager in European Tour Productions to manage the production of outside broadcasts of worldwide golf events.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Managing arrangements around national/international golf productions on the DP World Tour and other golf ad hoc events.
- Working without direct supervision, comfortable making decisions around escalation of issues or managing them independently.
- Budget preparation, finance reporting and reconciliation of each production.
- Coordinating with suppliers on crew and equipment arrangements based on spec provided.
- Managing all travel and logistics associated with the event.
- Hiring of freelance staff and contractors, negotiating deals.
- Preparing call sheets and overseeing the production of risk assessments.
- Line management.
- Ensure best health & safety practices are carried out on site.
- You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
Unusual Challenges or Circumstances
- Worldwide travel to outside broadcast locations.
- Remote work from IMG Studios where applicable.
- Weekend work and unsocial hours.
- Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate.

Key Results Areas
- Keep programme on budget and on schedule to include accurate forecasting pre‑production.
- Ensuring all the necessary paperwork, contracts, insurance, risk assessments etc. are all in place for production.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of dealing with broadcasters, stakeholders and a range of personnel.
- Previous experience in a similar role within television production.
- Ability to produce a production budget.
- Some knowledge of responsibilities in relation to rights and clearances, production workflows, insurance and health and safety.
- Experience managing junior members of the admin team.
- An understanding of UK TV industry.

Working Conditions
- This is a permanent position.
- This role will be based at Stockley Park with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate.
- Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.
- May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings.
- Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule.
- Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate.
