IMG are looking for a multi-talented Assistant Producer to join the Football Department, employed across all aspects of their EFL coverage and supporting other major projects within the department.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Working closely with the Producer to assist on the Football League highlights Show QC/Edit produce & deliver match edits, reporter round up packages & other inserts to deadlines
- Team leading Edit APs on show day
- Planning edit schedules and executing/adapting on show day as required
- Planning, organization and delivery of features
- Manage gallery playout
- Delivering fast turnaround match highlights and match reports
- Onsite producing
- Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines for broadcaster/client as appropriate
- Self-editing packages for EFL social media channels
- Develop and deliver creative openers and features
- Plan & Direct ENG shoots
- Comfortable working to extremely tight deadlines
- You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job
- To support the Partnership production with QC responsibilities on live match coverage as required
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to make editorial decisions without direct supervision
- Experience self-editing on Adobe Premiere/Avid or similar
- Experience self-shooting
- Experience with Adobe After Effects
- IPD knowledge
Knowledge And Experience
- Experience of live football production
- Experience of post-production in football content
- Experience of producing fast turnaround match highlights/reports
- Demonstrable experience delivering creative openers and features
- Specialist knowledge of EFL
- Experience of dealing with Talent (e.g. presenters, commentators, voice over artists & sports stars)
- Experience as coordinator in a live gallery environment
Working Conditions
- The work location is Stockley Park, Uxbridge
- This is a fixed term contract until end of May 2027
- You will be required to work on Football League, DFB and SPL match rounds, including weekends and evenings. This includes the festive period, Easter and bank holiday.
