We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to lead the production management of the Apple F1 non-live Original Content team. Applications will close on Wednesday 22nd July at 11.59pm UK Time.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Support the senior editorial team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Apple F1 Content department.
  • Manage filming schedules and content delivery timelines, ensuring appropriate crew and equipment are booked.
  • Coordinate shoots with the Production Coordinator, including booking freelancers and preparing call sheets.
  • Act as the lead point of contact on-site and through post-production until final delivery to clients/broadcasters.
  • Oversee content workflows from concept to delivery, including scheduling editors and post-production.
  • Oversee the delivery of digital and social content, ensuring platform-specific requirements, formats, and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all deliverables and production paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure content complies with legal, editorial, and production guidelines; flag and advise on potential risks.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost reports, and updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee production budgets across studio and remote shoots, advising on cost efficiency and feasibility.
  • Support cost tracking, invoicing, and purchase orders alongside the Production Coordinator.
  • Assist with implementing pre- and post-production schedules.
  • Ensure risk assessments and health & safety requirements are in place for all production activity.
  • Maintain awareness of financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage or flag the need for contracts and agreements.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures.
  • Troubleshoot issues and support ad hoc needs across the non-live department.
  • Undertake additional duties as required within the scope of the role.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Proven production management experience, including cost tracking and forecasting across pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance, legal requirements, and health & safety policies within a production environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing post-production and compliance processes.
  • Experience collaborating with editorial teams to develop and deliver content schedules.
Desirable
  • Experience working on international or high-profile productions, with strong stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of studio and remote broadcast production workflows.

Working Conditions

This is a fixed-term contract role until 31st December 2026, based at our office in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. Possible weekend work and unsocial hours required.
