What You’ll Do: We are seeking an experienced, globally minded Director of Total Rewards to support the global benefits strategy; lead the design and execution of employee benefits programmes across EMEA and APAC, with a primary focus on the UK; and support select UK/EMEA-focused Compensation deliverables. This position is a member of the Benefits leadership team, partners closely with the VP, Global Benefits, and contributes to global benefits strategy development. The role owns regional and country-level benefits execution, including compliance and employee experience, ensuring programmes align with TKO’s Benefits guiding principles (well-being driven, affordable, accessible, and customisable). In addition, the role supports select compensation-related activities in partnership with the Compensation team. The Director of Total Rewards balances global consistency with local market relevance, serving as an advisor and partner to local HR, Finance, and business leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Leadership Support: Contribute to the annual global benefits strategy and planning process as a member of the Benefits Leadership Team. Lead regional (UK, EMEA, APAC) benefits planning and execution, aligned to the global strategy and principles. Provide regional insight, benchmarking, and recommendations to support programme design and decision-making.
- UK Benefits Ownership (Primary Focus): Own the day-to-day management and execution of UK benefits programmes, including plan administration, annual enrolment, employee support, and vendor performance. Recommend programme design, cost management, and enhancements for the UK market. Serve as the primary escalation point for UK employee issues and vendor matters, resolving or elevating as appropriate.
- EMEA & APAC Regional Oversight: Support and oversee benefits execution across ~15 countries in EMEA and APAC, in partnership with local HR teams and external vendors. Ensure consistent delivery of key activities including enrolment, employee support, compliance coordination, and vendor management. Serve as escalation point for complex issues.
- Vendor, Compliance & Operations: Manage global broker relationship, ensuring service delivery meets expectations and aligns with global standards. Oversee local compliance activities, including statutory requirements, filings, and audits, in partnership with Legal and external advisors. Own UK benefits invoice processing and reconciliation, including coordination with vendors and Finance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and issue resolution.
- Employee Experience & Communication: Support a consistent, positive employee benefits experience, from onboarding through annual enrolment and throughout the year. Partner with VP, Global Benefits on global communications and lead regional and local benefits communications.
- Compensation Support (UK/EMEA): Support the Compensation Cycle with process testing, running reports, ensuring compliance with local legislation, and providing partnership to People Business Partners as appropriate. Compile and submit salary survey data for select compensation surveys. Support UK Gender Pay Gap and EU Pay Transparency implementation and reporting. May provide additional partnership on an ad hoc basis.
- People Management: Manage one direct report, providing coaching, guidance, and development support.
You Have These:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in UK benefits, 3+ years of compensation experience, and direct experience in multiple international markets.
- Interest in or experience using AI-enabled tools to improve benefits operations, reporting, employee experience, or vendor management is a plus.
- Experience operating in a global, matrixed environment, balancing global strategy with local execution.
- Strong vendor management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to audiences at all levels.
- Experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms (Workday preferred).
- Managerial experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
