We are looking for an Archive Producer on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to be responsible for sourcing and consulting on archive use for a high‑profile global luxury brand. As Archive Producer, you will manage footage research for various archive‑led projects and will collaborate with Creatives and Producers from multiple agencies, work closely with Rights and Media Managers, and be supported by the Senior Operations Manager to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Keep across industry trends and players in the industry who may be beneficial to future projects.
- Work with creative teams and producers to consult on archive use in both the development and production of advertising and branded content, advising on best practice and legal limitations, and offer creative solutions for production problems.
- Become an expert on our client’s heritage, brand values and relationships, learning and ultimately advising teams on how this can be leveraged for use in content creation.
- Source and manage archival materials, securing the best creative solutions for projects, such as footage, news clips, viral videos, photographs, audio recordings, documents, and other materials as required.
- Undertake proactive research, perpetually assembling archive bins with up‑to‑date federation / sporting archive as well as archive from other sources to use in upcoming creative briefs.
- Bring your knowledge of available archive to creative ideation sessions to guide potential storylines and creative briefs.
- Analyse risk and supply a tiered risk assessment of all supplied archive to help guide editorial decisions.
- Develop your expertise in key sports including golf, tennis, and equestrianism, ideally specialising in one.
Line Management
- Deliver and ensure best practice in motivating and appraising direct reports.
Client Services
- Maintain a deep understanding of the brand values, ethos, and strategic vision of the client and their partner agencies.
Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience of working as an Archive Producer on commercial projects, including sourcing “hidden gem” footage, analysing licensing risk, negotiating with rights holders, and understanding and working to a budget.
- Previous experience of working with creative and advertising production agencies, and key client stakeholders.
- Experienced in creative problem solving.
- Excellent time management – reliable and punctual with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
- This is a 12‑month full‑time fixed‑term contract.
- This role is based at our office in Chiswick Park, with requirement to work at our facility in Stockley Park.
- Weekend and unsocial hours may be required to meet deadlines.
- Travel may be required.
