As an In Service Support Manager, you will join our Operations team at TKMS ATLAS UK, supporting the management and delivery of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and In-Service Support contracts across the Maritime and Defence sectors.
Our team works closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) specialists, customers and suppliers to ensure our equipment and systems remain effectively supported throughout their operational life.
This role will contribute to the successful delivery of customer requirements and the continued growth and development of our support services.
You will play an important role in coordinating support activities, monitoring contract performance and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will gain exposure to Defence support contracts, service management and ILS processes while developing your project and commercial awareness.
In this role, you will
- Support the delivery of In-Service Support and CLS contracts.
- Monitor contract performance, KPIs and service deliverables.
- Coordinate support activities between internal teams and external suppliers.
- Support customer meetings, progress reviews and contract reporting.
- Prepare reports, presentations and project documentation.
- Track actions, risks, issues and opportunities across support programmes.
- Support the management of subcontractor and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within support services.
- Work with engineering, logistics and project teams to achieve customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
We are looking for someone who
- Has an engineering degree, HND/HNC, Level 4 qualification or equivalent military engineering training.
- Has engineering, maintenance, logistics or technical support experience, with recent graduates and military leavers encouraged to apply.
- Can organise and prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Has strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Can build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Is motivated to learn about Defence support, CLS and ILS processes and contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of Defence, Maritime or MOD support environments, ILS principles, project-based working, engineering lifecycle management or performance reporting would be advantageous.
A PMQ, PRINCE2 Foundation or similar qualification is also desirable, although a willingness to achieve this would be welcomed.
