TKMS ATLAS UK have designed their Engineering Graduate Programme to support those with a passion for Engineering to grow into the next generation of specialists to develop cutting-edge maritime technology for worldwide customers and the UK Royal Navy.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to research and development activities across sonar and underwater platform signature domains
  • Supporting the development of hardware, software and sensing systems
  • Assisting with signal processing, data analysis and algorithm development
  • Carrying out modelling and simulation of underwater environments and system behaviour
  • Working with signal processing, image analysis, data science and machine learning
  • Developing detection and classification algorithms
  • Analysing acoustic and non-acoustic data
  • Simulating and modelling the physics of sonar systems and generation and propagation of acoustic and non-acoustic signatures in the underwater environment
  • Test and measurement of acoustic and non-acoustic systems, including those on in-service submarine sonars
  • Producing technical reports and documentation to support projects and bids
  • Undertake occasional UK and overseas travel to support projects
