TKMS ATLAS UK have designed their Engineering Graduate Programme to support those with a passion for Engineering to grow into the next generation of specialists to develop cutting-edge maritime technology for worldwide customers and the UK Royal Navy.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to research and development activities across sonar and underwater platform signature domains
- Supporting the development of hardware, software and sensing systems
- Assisting with signal processing, data analysis and algorithm development
- Carrying out modelling and simulation of underwater environments and system behaviour
- Working with signal processing, image analysis, data science and machine learning
- Developing detection and classification algorithms
- Analysing acoustic and non-acoustic data
- Simulating and modelling the physics of sonar systems and generation and propagation of acoustic and non-acoustic signatures in the underwater environment
- Test and measurement of acoustic and non-acoustic systems, including those on in-service submarine sonars
- Producing technical reports and documentation to support projects and bids
- Undertake occasional UK and overseas travel to support projects
