Ready to inspire the next generation of scientists? Orchards Academy is looking for a proactive Science Technician to join our team on a full time, term time basis (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high quality technical support across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Prepare apparatus, equipment, and chemical solutions for practical lessons.
- Maintain a safe environment adhering to CLEAPSS and COSHH guidelines.
- Manage stock control and accurate equipment inventories.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good general education including GCSE English, Maths and a Science subject.
- Practical laboratory experience.
- A professional, "can do" attitude.
Working Hours
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time + inset days. Part time or alternative pattern can be discussed.
