The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Site Team Member to support the school’s daily operations under the Site Manager, gaining experience in facilities management, caretaking, and estates maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Security: Assist with opening and closing premises and ensuring all buildings are secured.
  • Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs, DIY tasks, painting, and general upkeep.
  • Health & Safety: Conduct routine safety checks and report hazards.
  • Grounds & Cleanliness: Keep the grounds tidy, manage waste/recycling, and perform emergency clean‑ups or gritting during winter.
  • Event Setup: Move furniture and set up halls for assemblies, exams, parents’ evenings, and community events.

Working Hours & Flexibility

37 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (early mornings, late afternoons/evenings). Frequent opportunities for evening and weekend overtime to support school events and external lettings.
