Ore Village Primary Academy, Hastings, East Sussex is seeking an enthusiastic and interactive Class Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team. This fixed‑term maternity cover contract runs until 31 December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom.
- Develop positive relationships with young children and create an imaginative and inclusive learning environment.
- Use a range of resources to make the classroom engaging and accumulate evidence of learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the trust and support colleagues as part of a team.
- Commit to raising the achievement of all students of all abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Great communicator who develops positive relationships with young children.
- Understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the children.
- Confidence in using a range of resources and teaching strategies.
- Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.
- Awarded or eligible for Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).
