Role Overview
As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, the Director of Performing Arts (Music Specialism) will shape the vision and delivery of the Performing Arts department, leading a team of specialists across Music, Drama and Dance to deliver a high‑quality curriculum and vibrant co‑curricular programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a forward‑looking curriculum for Music, ensuring high attainment in KS4 examination outcomes.
- Lead, mentor and support a specialist team, fostering professional growth and a culture of ambition.
- Design and oversee co‑curricular activities that enhance student engagement and showcase talent.
- Collaborate with other subject leaders to embed Performing Arts across the whole school.
- Represent the school at external events, building relationships with the wider community.
Qualifications & Experience
