Responsibilities

  • Working with staff to establish potential students to be considered
  • Gathering evidence and screening to assess the need for access arrangements
  • Completing the required paperwork to prepare for assessment
  • Liaising with the external assessor
  • Liaising with the exams officer, SENCO and Raising Standards Lead
  • Overseeing and coordinating the provision of access arrangements to eligible students
  • Acting as the setting's main point of contact for staff and parents in relation to access arrangements

Qualifications

  • Good level of general education (GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent).
  • Up-to-date, working knowledge of JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations, requirements, and deadlines.
  • Experience acting as a primary point of contact for diverse groups (e.g., staff, parents, external visitors).
