Job Description:
We are seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to lead our team at the Walsall Processing Centre, reporting to the PC LPM. The successful candidate will support LP strategies and business objectives through coaching, influence, and supervision of the site LP team. You will collaborate with all levels across the site, partner with security providers, and handle physical security issues outside operational hours. Your role will be vital in maintaining operational compliance, conducting loss-related audits, escalating issues, and working with management to implement loss reduction strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure associate safety through effective safety initiatives, incident response, and management of physical security systems.
- Reduce crime risk by identifying security threats, supporting investigations, and escalating issues as needed.
- Manage operational shrink and loss by completing audits, recording findings, and seeking opportunities to reduce loss.
- Deliver loss prevention induction programmes, educate staff on loss awareness, and promote awareness initiatives.
- Model cultural values, champion Inclusion & Diversity, coach the LP team, and support talent development.
