What we expect

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team based in the Nottingham head office, reporting to the Head of Accounting. As a Financial Reporting Accountant your job role will include:

  • Technical accounting expert with responsibilities for monthly IFRS 16 processing and completeness checks in coordination with key stakeholders in addition to other ad-hoc technical accounting requirements
  • Key contact for external audit and external tax advisors
  • Ownership of statutory reporting in coordination with the Head of Accounting
  • Ownership of the business cash flow reporting using both the direct and indirect methods
  • Working alongside Head of Accounting to streamline cash flow forecasting procedures
  • Routine month-end journals, driving analysis and brief forecasting where necessary
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for complex areas
  • Monthly and quarterly group management reporting in IFRS, ownership and understanding of the group reporting templates
  • Ability to be a key contact for ad-hoc group reporting requests
  • Driving the process improvements that have been set in place and encouraging best practices

  • ACA/ACCA Fully qualified candidates from a practice background
  • Competent in IFRS accounting
