We are looking for an experienced and passionate Escalator Engineer to join our Resident Sites team, who will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our clients' escalators.
As an Escalator Engineer, your day to day will include:
- Servicing and maintaining customer escalators
- Repairing or replacing escalator parts
- Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
- Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
- Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
- Maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
- Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the escalators compliant
Who we are looking for:
- NVQ3 in Escalator Engineering or Equivalent qualifications
- Hold a full UK Driving License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
- Positive attitude and receptive to change
- Extremely organised
- Superior customer-care skills
- The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
