Location: Bristol, South West England. This role involves servicing, repairing and maintaining our clients\’ elevators across the region.
What We Expect
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lift Service & Callout Engineer to join our South West division based in Bristol, who will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining our clients\’ elevators across their region.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining customer lifts
- Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
- Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
- Responding to emergency breakdowns as directed, identify and rectify faults and report any concerns to the Area Service & Repair Manager
- Maintaining stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
- Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the lifts compliant
- Out of hours work on a pro rata basis
Who we are looking for
- NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualifications
- Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
- Positive attitude and receptive to change
- Extremely organised
- Superior customer-care skills
- The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
