Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lift Service Engineer to join our London & South division based in Reading / Oxford, who will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our clients\’ elevators across their region.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining customer lifts
- Repairing or replacing lift parts
- Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
- Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
- Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
- Maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
- Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the lifts compliant
- Out of hours work on a pro rata basis
Qualifications
- NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualifications
- Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
- Positive attitude and receptive to change
- Extremely organised
- Superior customer-care skills
- The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
- An advocate for H&S regulations in the workplace
