T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse/Forklift Operative to join our Client in Bardon Hill, Coalville on a temporary to permanent basis. As a Warehouse/Forklift Operative, you will be required to work in a clean, modern factory completing general warehouse duties to ensure production deadlines are met. The role is 70% warehouse duties and 30% forklift duties, therefore a lot of manual handling is involved so the successful applicant must be physically fit.

Job Benefits:

  • £29,120 per annum plus attractive overtime rates including double time for 8 hours over the weekend
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Details:

  • Working in the Goods In department unloading products from deliveries and storing them in the correct location
  • Working in the Goods Out department loading finished products as per Customer orders
  • Completing Customer orders by picking products and palletising them using a wrapping machine or hand wrapping
  • Moving raw materials into racking using a Counterbalance and Reach FLT and ensuring it is in the correct stock location
  • Supply materials to production on pallets and place in the appropriate location
  • Learn and use the Company database for all transportation information
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety rules on site & inform manager of any faulty or unsafe equipment
  • All other associated tasks as required

Person Specification:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • A valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT license is required
  • Physically fit due to the manual handling involved
  • Basic IT skills with the ability to operate the Company transport portal
  • Excellent time management skills
