Due to continued growth, T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Van Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our Client on a temporary to permanent basis in Shepshed. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team with a fantastic and friendly company culture.
Job Details & Benefits:

Role & Responsibilities include:
- Ensure products are delivered and stored safely to sites throughout the UK.
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes accurately in a fuel-efficient manner.
- Follow routes and time schedule to optimise driving time.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Collect payments.
- Follow DOT regulations, safety standards and ensure quality service standards comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Inspect products for defects and damages and report any discrepancies.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Person Specification:
- Experience as a Multi Drop Delivery Driver, preferably with knowledge of the road systems in the West Midlands and East Midlands.
- Experience in driving 3.5t long wheel base vehicle.
- Full valid driver’s license with no more than 3 points and held for a minimum of 24 months.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience as a warehouse worker and familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck and other warehouse equipment.
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system.
- Team player with organisational skills.
- Ability to lift or move heavy products.
