T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and fast paced manufacturing environment working on a wide range of technical products.
Job Details & Benefits:
- Monday – Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm
- £12.71 per hour to start, rising to £14.25 following a successful probation period
- 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Main Duties:
- Inspection of control panels, cable harnesses/looms, and mechanical assemblies to customer and internal drawings
- Carrying out visual inspections to ensure products meet workmanship and quality standards
- Continuity testing using a multimeter
- Identifying defects, damage, missing items, or workmanship issues
- Verifying assemblies against bills of materials, drawings, and work instructions
- Recording inspection results and reporting quality issues where required
- Supporting production teams with quality related queries
- Maintaining a clean and organised inspection area
- Following company quality procedures and health & safety requirements
Person Specification:
- Previous inspection experience is essential
- Experience inspecting control panels, cable harnesses/looms, or mechanical assemblies would be advantageous
- Experience using a multimeter for continuity testing
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to understand and follow technical drawings and documentation
- Careful and methodical approach to work
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
