T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for an Office & Finance Administrator to join our Client on a permanent basis in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This is a fast-paced busy role, working within an open plan office so will suit someone who can multitask, has a practical mindset and can retain knowledge well. The role is 50% Accounts duties and 50% Administration duties, experience isn’t essential as the Company offer training for the right person.

Details & Benefits:

  • Β£21-26k per annum depending on experience
  • Office based role - Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Duties:

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, resolving any discrepancies
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the purchase ledger
  • Supporting payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid in line with agreed terms
  • Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with invoice or payment queries
  • Assisting with month-end accounts processes as required
  • Maintaining organised and compliant financial records
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Office Manager
  • Raising and processing purchase orders
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal teams regarding orders and deliveries
  • Supporting asset management, including maintaining asset registers
  • Assisting with inventory control
  • Raising invoices for the hire companies
  • Supporting general office administration, record keeping and undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in an office administration role with finance exposure would be desirable
  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • A polite, friendly and approachable manner
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritise use initiative to solve problems
