T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for an Office & Finance Administrator to join our Client on a permanent basis in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This is a fast-paced busy role, working within an open plan office so will suit someone who can multitask, has a practical mindset and can retain knowledge well. The role is 50% Accounts duties and 50% Administration duties, experience isnβt essential as the Company offer training for the right person.

- Β£21-26k per annum depending on experience
- Office based role - Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Duties:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, resolving any discrepancies
- Assisting with the maintenance of the purchase ledger
- Supporting payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid in line with agreed terms
- Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with invoice or payment queries
- Assisting with month-end accounts processes as required
- Maintaining organised and compliant financial records
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Office Manager
- Raising and processing purchase orders
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams regarding orders and deliveries
- Supporting asset management, including maintaining asset registers
- Assisting with inventory control
- Raising invoices for the hire companies
- Supporting general office administration, record keeping and undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in an office administration role with finance exposure would be desirable
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
- A polite, friendly and approachable manner
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritise use initiative to solve problems
