T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a NPI Engineer to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis. NPI Engineer Job Details & Benefits:
- £26,000 - £37,000 per annum DOE
- Monday – Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
- Optional Overtime

NPI Engineer Duties:
- Use customer CAD data to program SMT machines, generate NPI drawings/ documentation and instructions for production
- Liaise and interface with customers to relay issues and recommendations
- Review engineering schedule to review work priorities
- Review and understand customer assembly drawings and customer build data (PDF drawings, CAD, Gerber, bill of materials)
- Manipulate BOM’s using Excel
- Transform customer data into shopfloor assembly documentation using software tools (FactoryLogix)
- Use ERP software to track task completion
- Communication with other departments to overcome issues
- Communication directly with customers to resolve issues with provided assembly information
NPI Engineer Person specification:
- Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Understand PCB assembly
- Experience with PCB assembly related software such as; Viewmate, Gerber viewer, Factory Logix
- Electronics engineering experience
- IT Background
- Process Background
- Engineering Qualifications Level 3 and above
- Technical experience in Manufacturing
