T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a friendly company that has expanded over the years. Previous Mechanical Assembly experience isn’t required as the Company can offer full training, however the successful candidate must have some assembly experience.

- Monday – Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm
- £12.71 per hour
- 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Main Duties
- Mechanical assembly of enclosures and assemblies
- Using hand tools including screwdrivers, torque screwdrivers, and torque wrenches
- Applying Loctite and other assembly materials correctly
- Following assembly instructions and build documentation
- Ensuring products are assembled carefully without scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage
- Carrying out visual checks throughout assembly
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Supporting continuous improvement within the department
- Following company quality procedures and health & safety requirements

- Must have previous assembly experience
- Basic experience using hand tools
- Good attention to detail
