T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our Client on a temporary to permanent basis in Shepshed. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small friendly team within a Company that offers excellent benefits including an early finish on a Friday!
Factory Operative Job Details:
- £12.50 per hour to start rising to £13.50 per hour when permanent
- 39 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7am-4.30pm & Friday 7am-11.15am
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays increasing to 33 days after 12 weeks
- 4% employer pension

Factory Operative Role & Responsibilities include:
- Working on autosaws and clippersaws cutting bricks – full training will be given
- Using various hand tools
- Ensuring the correct materials are being used
- Loading products onto drying trucks
- Recording the amount/type of bricks made each day
- Working to targets
- All other associated tasks as required by the Factory Manager
Person Specification:
- The role involves general labouring so you must be physically fit
- Able to stand for the duration of your shift and happy to complete repetitive duties
- Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product
- A good team player
- Strong attention to detail with good Quality Control skills
