Due to continued growth, T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global client based in Coalville for a CNC Setter/Operator. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term stability, ongoing investment and a supportive working environment with excellent employee benefits.
As a CNC Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes. Experience with milling machines would be advantageous as milling duties will be incorporated into the role over time; however, using CNC lathes will be the primary focus.
CNC Setter/Operator Job Details & Benefits:
- 40 hours per week worked flexibly between 6am-4pm Monday-Thursday with an early finish at 12pm-12.30pm on a Friday
- £17-£20 per hour – depending on experience

CNC Setter/Operator Job Details:
The CNC Setter/Operator will play an integral role within the Machine Engineering team, manufacturing precision components to specification while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. The role involves working with a variety of CNC machines and control systems, problem-solving machining challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement within the machining function.
CNC Setter/Operator Person Specification:
- Ability to work independently on complex components while also contributing effectively within a team environment
- Must be able to manufacture components using 3-axis machining techniques
- Ideal candidates will have experience in either Fanuc, Proto Trak or Siemens control panels
- Programming experience would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Must have a strong problem-solving capability and proactive mindset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills supporting collaborative working
- High level of organisation, time management, and reliability
