Assembly Operative in Castle Donington

T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client based in Castle Donington, for an Assembly Operative to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. You’ll work as part of a supportive team, following instructions, meeting quality standards, and helping to keep production running smoothly. Assembly Operative Job Details and benefits; * 7:30am–4pm – Monday to Thursday & 7:30am-3:30pm on Fridays * Pension * Free parking * 20 days holidays plus bank holidays * Service award 15 years – additional days holiday and cash vouchers Assembly Operative Responsibilities; * Assembling and packing products * Inform the Quality Control team when the first item or batch has been prepared and is ready for inspection. * Record the quantity of products assembled and the time taken, and report any differences or missing components identified on the BOM * Recording of non-value-added work on production sheets * Reporting to production and warehouse manager of any damaged components for write-off * Inform the Quality Control team of any products that need to be returned to the supplier * Maintain health and safety standards and good housekeeping within assembly area * Setting up the Clare tester to the correct position for the required test * Ensure correct labelling of products/components that are to be returned to stock * Carry out stock control checks when required * Complete any other reasonable tasks requested by your line management Assembly Operative Person Specification; * Experience in assembling and packing products is essential * Ability to work aspart of a team as well as using own initiative * Motivated and reliable approach to work * Quality control/testing is desirable but not essential * Strong attention to detail If you are interested in the role as Assembly Operative, then please apply now by sending your CV to T&K Associates
