£25,800 per annum

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 15:30pm and Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm

25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Soldering Operative Role and Responsibilities include:

  • Soldering electric components including through-hole soldering
  • Completing wire preparations, connections and crimping
  • PCB Assembly and component placements
  • Product programming, testing and calibration
  • Producing products to a high standard and maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Working to daily and weekly production targets
  • Remaining compliant with processes and standards
  • Follow work instructions, drawings and process documentation
  • Report any quality issues to supervisors

Soldering Operative Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Understanding of electronics and mechanical assembly
  • Experience in through-hole soldering and small component work
  • Reliable and Punctual
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Positive can-do attitude
