T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and fast-paced manufacturing environment working on a wide range of technical products.

Job Details & Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm
  • £12.71 per hour to start, rising to £14.25 following a successful probation period
  • 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Main Duties:

  • Inspection of control panels, cable harnesses/looms, and mechanical assemblies to customer and internal drawings
  • Carrying out visual inspections to ensure products meet workmanship and quality standards
  • Continuity testing using a multimeter
  • Identifying defects, damage, missing items, or workmanship issues
  • Verifying assemblies against bills of materials, drawings, and work instructions
  • Recording inspection results and reporting quality issues where required
  • Supporting production teams with quality related queries
  • Maintaining a clean and organised inspection area
  • Following company quality procedures and health & safety requirements

Person Specification:

  • Previous inspection experience is essential
  • Experience inspecting control panels, cable harnesses/looms, or mechanical assemblies would be advantageous
  • Experience using a multimeter for continuity testing
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and follow technical drawings and documentation
  • Careful and methodical approach to work
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
