T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Client on a Permanent basis for our client based in Coalville. You will be working in a fast-paced, construction workshop environment and should have the ability to carry out multiple tasks at once and so be very organised. You will primarily be dealing with all types of plant machinery working on your own and as part of the team.

Mechanical Fitter Job Benefits:

  • £Weekly pay
  • Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm including paid breaks
  • Quarterly bonus scheme paid based on Company profit
  • Weekly overtime available paid at 1.5 (£21.75 per hour) - no weekend working
  • Company van
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus a Christmas shutdown
  • Employer pension contribution

Mechanical Fitter Job Responsibilities:

  • To assess, service and repair attachments in the workshop and on site
  • Occasional repairs to hire fleet and customer excavator attachments
  • Travelling to sites to complete repairs
  • Keep the workshop area allocated to the job function in a clean and tidy condition

Mechanical Fitter Person Specification:

  • Strong mechanical background is required
  • Strong welding experience
  • FLT experience is desired
  • Full and Clean UK Driving License
