Due toexceptional growthT&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team on apermanent basis.
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be working as part of a team reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. You will perform routine and more complex electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance and installation of equipment promptly to minimise changes to site operations, all within your capabilities following the site training matrix.

Maintenance Engineer Details & Benefits;
£43,153 per annum including shift pay
Annual bonus – £500 base value
Permanent role
Monday to Friday covering the hours of 6am to 10pm on a 4 week rotation (6-2, 8-4, 6-2, 2-10 no nights)

Maintenance Engineer Job Details;
Provide a maintenance service which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines
Manage routine, preventative, and planned maintenance of the plant/equipment
Provide technical support/input to projects
Perform modifications and installations
Maintain a CMMS Planned Preventative Maintenance system using SAP
Work with or alongside contractors whilst installing/maintaining equipment
Respond to emergency breakdowns including finding and fixing faults
Follow all Company procedures
Maintenance Engineer Person Specification;
5+ years experience in a similar role
Previous experience in food manufacturing is essential
Served a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Engineering maintenance or equivalent
Some knowledge of electrical systems including control systems
Mechanical repairs and fault finding skills
Experience of welding and fabrication is essential
Be conversant with Health & Safety requirements and to perform tasks under current legislation
Use of hand power tools
