The predicted salary is between 19.8 - 19.8 £ per hour.

Permanent position £16.50-£19.80 per hour plus a weekly bonus (average £60).

Days: 6am-2pm, afternoons 2pm-10pm.

  • Conducting preventative maintenance on all plant machinery.
  • Attending machine breakdowns and carrying out repairs/change overs efficiently, to ensure minimum down time.
  • Troubleshooting and fault-finding defects on machinery and carrying out repairs as necessary.
  • Ensuring adequate supply of essential parts and ordering of parts when required.
  • Updating records and maintenance logs.
  • Maintaining the upkeep of all working areas.
  • Fabricating work may also be required.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies; including Health and Safety.

A minimum of 3 years experience in Heavy Plant / Machinery maintenance is required.

Must have experience within the plastics industry.

Knowledge of electrics, engines, transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems is essential.

Be hard working and conscientious, using initiative to reach suitable resolutions without constant supervision.

Ability to follow instructions and prioritise workload in systematic order.

Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team demonstrating a good work ethic.

Excellent organisation and communication skills are necessary.

A good understanding of Health and Safety is important.
