The predicted salary is between 14 - 14 £ per hour.

Weekly Rotating shifts:

  • Mornings - Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm
  • Afternoons - Monday to Thursday 2pm-10:45pm, Friday 2pm-7pm

£14.24 (Hourly rate includes shift premium)

28 days holiday to start including bank holidays, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Machine Operative Duties:

  • Loading and operating a machine with some programming elements
  • Learning all relevant procedures to be competent enough to build a printed circuit board
  • Building PCB in accordance with IPC-610 criteria
  • Preparing and running jobs on the SMT machinery
  • Preparing components so they can be correctly used on the SMT line
  • Operate and program solder paste print technologies (SPI)
  • Relay build issues and process related concerns to the production engineers

Machine Operative Person Specification:

  • Must have previous Machine Operating experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete varied duties to meet deadlines
