T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Service Field Engineer to join our Client on a permanent basis located in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer and supplier within their industry. The Trainee Service Engineer will be working as part of a two-person team visiting customers all over the country and sometimes overseas. If you are mechanically or electrically minded and enjoy meeting and helping new people, then this job could be for you. Full training on all the products for repairing and servicing will be provided, so you just really need to have a keen interest in fixing things.

Job Details and Benefits:

  • Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
  • Visiting customers all over the country and sometimes overseas
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 28 days + bank holidays after 5 years service
  • Pension scheme

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs

Person Specification:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge is ideal but not required
  • Ability to work unsupervised
