T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary on-going basis with the potential to go permanent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a friendly Company that has expanded over the years.
Stores Person Job Details & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am to 5:00pm
- £12.71 per hour
- Company pension scheme

- 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Stores Person Duties:
- Receiving goods in and assisting in putting together kits ready for production
- Checking incoming shipments against supplier paperwork and allocating parts to the correct kit boxes
- Inspecting and labelling components
- Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock and recording inventory levels
- Checking kits against a bill of materials to ensure production have the correct parts in the correct quantities
- Ensuring timely and accurate kitting according to production requirements
- Identifying and communicating issues to relevant departments and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Suitably packing products immediately after inspection activity, taking customer requirements into account
- Requesting support as necessary
- Generating dispatch paperwork for daily shipments, including courier labels & internal dispatch notes
- Taking responsibility for checking all details match, escalating any concerns quickly
- Managing the dispatch inventory, ensuring all necessary consumable items are available to allow shipment of product
