Mechanical Fitter Job Details and Benefits:
- Monday - Thursday 6am - 2.30pm, Friday 6am - 11am
- £30,745.52 - £32,842.68 per annum
- Annual bonus averaging £1,000 - £2,000
- Overtime available

Mechanical Fitter Job Duties:
- Carrying out the assembly, fitting, maintenance and refurbishment of specialist plant equipment and chambers to a high standard
- Working accurately to engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, limits and fits
- Using precision measuring equipment
- Perform fault finding, repairs and adjustments on mechanical components and assemblies
- Ensuring all fitting and assembly work is completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Operating overhead cranes and carrying out safe slinging and lifting of heavy components and equipment
- Work in line with health & safety procedures and safe systems of work at all times
- Complete quality checks and inspections throughout the build and fitting process
- Collaborate with colleagues across production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Mechanical Fitter Person Specification:
- Experience of working to tolerances
- Crane and slinging experience
- Experience of fitting hydraulics
- Experience in mechanical fitting
- Proven engineering manufacturing experience
- Good mechanical skills
- Have a keen approach to problem solving
- Experience of building crushing equipment would be advantageous
