Due to exceptional growth, T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a Transport Analyst to join their friendly team on a Fixed-Term basis. The role is initially for 6 months; however, there may be a possibility for extension. You will be responsible for supporting the site Transport Team reporting directly to the site Supply Chain Manager. You will collaborate with all the teams on site, the European Road Hub team as well as other sites Transport Managers.
Transport Analyst Job Details & Benefits:- Β£36,000 - Β£40,000 per annum (pro rata)
- 5% Annual Company bonus paid based on Company profit and individual performance
- 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm, 30 minute break
- 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays (pro rata)

- Analyse the site OTIF and identify how to improve the site performance
- Analyse the transport costs and identify savings opportunities
- Review the site set up for route scheduling in SAP and adjust when required
- Support the implementation of EDI with Fedex
- Support the implementation of the planning automation in SAP to more countries
- Work with other departments on site to improve processes
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Logistics / Transport with proven experience with International Logistics and a good knowledge of incoterms
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills, confident with data
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data and utilise findings to make improvements
- Strong systems aptitude, preferably a good knowledge of SAP
