T&K Associates are recruiting on behalf of our Client in Measham, Swadlincote for a Business Development Advisor to join their team on a Permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading supplier of high-quality temporary buildings who design and supply solutions to a diverse customer base, including schools needing extra classrooms, commercial businesses needing additional office space and construction sites needing a complex of offices and welfare facilities.
Business Development Advisor Details & Benefits:
- Competitive salary DOE with an excellent commission scheme
- Monday to Friday 8.00am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break

Business Development Advisor Job Details:
- Converting new business on in house system
- Building strong relationships with Key accounts and keeping in regular contact to maintain and build relationships
- Upsell and cross sell products at every opportunity to increase sales and profit margins
- Build rapport with customers to create continued relationships
- Provide quotations within agreed time scales
- Monitor the performance of the accounts
- Follow up quotations within agreed timescales
- Provide a high standard of customer service to the customers by dealing with any necessary issues
Business Development Advisor Person Specification:
- Must have previous sales experience in either plant hire, manufacturing, property maintenance or construction
- Must be able to build and foster relationships with customers and use your product knowledge to identify the best solution for them
- Be able to work in fast paced environments
- Communicate effectively and professionally over the telephone and in e-mails, with customers, depot colleagues and head office functions
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to multitask and work under pressure
- Knowledge of Sales force system would be an advantage but not essential
