DIRECT SOURCER TALENT ACQUISITION

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re building a stronger Direct Sourcing capability within Talent Acquisition and are looking for a skilled Direct Sourcer to help us attract high‑quality talent for our in Watford.

This role is ideal for someone who loves the craft of sourcing—advanced search, market mapping, personalised outreach, building proactive pipelines and building Talent Communities.

You will work closely with your Talent Acquisition partners to deliver high‑quality talent, provide market insight, and create an engaging candidate experience.

  • JOB SUMMARY
  • Identify, engage and attract high‑calibre talent through proactive and creative sourcing methods.
  • Build and maintain talent pools ensuring accuracy and “hire‑ready” quality.
  • Drive best‑practice sourcing processes aligned to TA service standards and KPIs.
  • Deliver excellent candidate experience through timely, clear and supportive communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct Sourcing & Attraction
  • Translate hiring needs into targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Use advanced sourcing techniques (Linked In Recruiter, social channels, Boolean search, networking, referrals, market research).
  • Conduct market mapping and talent intelligence research to identify relevant talent pools.
  • Create high‑impact, personalised outreach that reflects our employer brand.
  • Build pipelines for recurring and hard‑to‑fill
  • Stakeholder Partnership
  • Provide data‑led insights on talent availability, market trends, pipeline health and competitor activity.
  • Advise recruiters on market conditions, candidate motivations and effective sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with recruiters to move sourced candidates through the selection process smoothly.
  • Pipeline, Process & Data Excellence
  • Maintain structured and efficient talent pools within Phenom CRM
  • Track key sourcing metrics and channels (4:1 interview ratio)
  • Improve and evolve sourcing playbooks, templates and best practices.
  • Contribute to the team’s KPI performance, SLAs and service standards.

  • KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Sourcer/Resourcer (in‑house, RPO or agency).
  • Strong direct sourcing capability across Head office or Retail/Distribution
  • Advanced sourcing techniques and search capability.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence.
  • Highly organised, delivery‑focused and able to manage multiple roles.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Inquisitive, with the ability to understand business needs quickly.

Desirable

  • Experience contributing to or building direct sourcing processes, playbooks or capability.
  • Comfortable using data to guide decision‑making.
  • Experience sourcing across European or international markets.
  • TOOLS & WAYS OF WORKING
  • Linked In Recruiter, sourcing platforms, ATS/CRM systems. • Multi‑channel engagement including social platforms, referrals and networking.
