This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Product Specialist to join TJX Europe and begin a career in the fashion and textiles industry through a structured Level 4 apprenticeship programme. Whether you're interested in garment construction, product quality, fabrics and materials, or understanding how products move from concept through to customer, this programme offers broad exposure across the product development lifecycle within a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on quality.
No two days are the same. Our objective is to ensure products meet the high standards of quality, safety, performance and value that our customers expect. This apprenticeship combines technical learning with practical experience, allowing you to develop specialist product technology skills whilst contributing to real business activities from the outset. We are looking for someone who is curious, organised and eager to learn. You do not need prior product technology experience, but a passion for fashion, textiles and product quality is essential.
In return, you will receive structured training through the Fashion Retail Academy alongside hands-on experience working with experienced Product Specialists, vendors and cross-functional partners. You will gain exposure to product development, quality assurance, compliance, technical documentation and supplier engagement, developing the skills and confidence needed for a successful career in Product Technology.
The Product & Quality Specialist Apprentice will support Product Specialists and Buying teams in the development, evaluation and approval of fashion and textile products. Working across multiple product categories, the apprentice will contribute to activities throughout the product lifecycle, gaining practical experience in product development, quality assurance, testing, compliance and supplier collaboration.
The role will involve assisting with product reviews, maintaining technical documentation, supporting critical path activities, coordinating samples and learning how products are assessed against quality, fit, performance and safety requirements. As confidence and capability grow, the successful candidate will be encouraged to take ownership of individual tasks and projects while being supported by experienced colleagues and apprenticeship learning providers.
Alongside practical experience, the apprentice will work towards achieving the Level 4 Fashion & Textiles Product Technologist qualification, developing specialist technical knowledge and industry-recognised skills. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, enthusiastic about fashion and textiles, and eager to learn how products are developed, manufactured and delivered to customers.
