We are excited to announce the second cohort of our Logistics Apprenticeship Programme, supported by SR Apprenticeships, a leading national training provider across a range of professional services and Supply Chain & Logistics sectors. By the end of the programme, you will gain a Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3 standard qualification.
Working in the Logistics Team, whose purpose is to enable the efficient flow of goods from our vendors to our stores, you will be part of our new Logistics Apprenticeship Programme, which will provide you with a broad range of opportunities to experience all sides of our distribution network. This will include:
- Logistics Operations
- International Logistics and Customs
- Data and Analytics
- Supply Chain Partnerships
- Technology and Engineering teams
You will work alongside and support lots of internal and external stakeholders including our Processing Centres, Buying Operations teams, external vendors and 3rd Party Logistics.
Starting in September 2025, our apprenticeship Programme takes approximately 18-24 months to complete. Not only will you get to experience Retail in real time, you will develop the skills and behaviours required to be successful on the Apprenticeship and in your role. You will be coached and mentored throughout our programme and will acquire new knowledge and skills through a blend of classroom and off-the-job learning. By the time you have finished, you will be ready to take on a role within the function or explore other roles with the business.
What you will need:
- To have passed five GCSEs (grade 4 and above / minimum grade C or equivalent) or have completed a Level 2 apprenticeship
- Ability to manage lots of constantly changing priorities in a fast-paced environment as part of your role and learning journey on the apprenticeship
- Curiosity and openness to learning as well as passion and enthusiasm for Supply Chain and related areas
- Relationship building and collaboration skills
- A positive "can do" attitude and to be self-motivated
- Great communication skills
- Committed, reliable with excellent attention to detail
As an employer, we choose to utilise the Apprenticeship Levy to fund our Apprenticeships. As such there are certain eligibility criteria which applicants will need to meet in line with the Apprenticeship Funding rules in England. Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have a valid and eligible residency status, right to work in England and, depending on their immigration status, may also need to demonstrate that they have been living continuously in the UK for at least 3 years (and that this residence has not been wholly or mainly for the purposes of receiving full-time education).
