We’re now looking for a Studio Junior - artwork to join our growing team! You will have a keen interest and experience in packaging artwork and print technologies, receive on the job training, and in time you will be able to create and adapt packaging artworks to the highest standard, whilst being able to hit deadlines within a fast-paced art studio.
About the role:
- Create and adapt packaging artworks correctly, efficiently and to meet all requirements of the brief.
- Under guidance and supervision create new packaging artworks including labels, boxes, sleeves, foils, tubes, lids and outer cases for various different print processes.
- Responsible for making mock-ups as required.
- To learn and take direction about the creation of artworks for food and non-food packaging and printing processes resulting in a reduction of the level of instruction required.
- Thoroughly check all artwork before releasing it to the Project Account Manager or other internal staff.
- To make changes on already existing artworks as required.
- To carry out cutter checks as required.
- Under supervision prepare and print GMG proofs for client approval.
- Under supervision complete artwork amends.
- To display a reasonable knowledge of the Adobe suite.
- To assist other members of the artwork department as required.
About you:
- Some artwork experience - FMCG packaging experience advantageous.
- Good knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstration of precision and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent attention to detail and works with precision.
- Demonstrates initiative, is creative and contributes ideas.
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving without cutting corners.
