The company is looking to hire a mid-weight artworker with relevant packaging experience in food, drinks and/or cosmetics. As a Creative Artworker, you will be experienced in design, packaging artwork, and working with style guides. You will take ownership of the design and creative implementation process, incorporating guidelines into master artwork/templates to ensure design aspiration works across all pack formats.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping and supporting the creation and management of all required master assets and feeding into the style guide process where appropriate.
  • Creating and adapting packaging master templates/artworks from supplied design assets (style guides, brand guidelines, master templates, front face artworks) and briefs supplied.
  • Reducing queries between design and artwork and being the decision maker on the rollout and implementation of the range.
  • Having excellent brand and design awareness, actively supporting the design and artwork teams to ensure consistent brand rollout.
  • Collating all assets related to design adaptations for release to artwork.
  • Supporting the process for locking down colours and building master templates/artworks appropriate to print processes.
  • Working closely with members of the production and account management teams to identify efficiencies and processes.
  • Setting up and monitoring brand masters as required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of artworker experience.
  • Excellent FMCG packaging experience.
  • Expert knowledge of packaging artwork and associated printing technologies, with a background as a packaging/technical artworker or print reproduction experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstration of precision and excellent attention to detail from photography, typography and file setup to follow the client’s guidelines and requirements.
  • Effective project management skills, able to manage workload.
  • Demonstrates initiative, is creative and contributes ideas.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and calm whilst working under pressure.
